The wine is a single varietal Pedro Ximénez made from grapes that were naturally sun-dried prior to being fermented.

After that, the wine was aged following the traditional oxidative ageing technique, known in Spanish as “soleras y criaderas”, for a minimum of 25 years prior to its bottling.

VISUAL: Very dense, bright, clean, high chocolate-coloured robe with a deep iodine rim.

NOSE: Aromas of coffee, bitter chocolate, liquorice, tobacco and sweet spices. On the background, notions of aromatic herbs, fruit compote and a subtle note of black olives.

PALATE: Powerful, sweet and venerable. Velvety bodied and round, with a very good acidity, a marvelous texture and an endless finish with remembrances of prunes, cocoa, spices, tobacco, figs, aromatic herbs
