Characteristics<\/strong><\/p>\n

Winery: Teso la Monja | Wine Name: Victorino | Appellation: Toro | Ageing: Red Crianza | Alcohol Content: 14, 5% vol. | Variety: 100% Tinta de Toro<\/p>\n

Vineyard<\/strong><\/p>\n

Description:They are vineyards in high spots facing north located in Pago La Jara, El Palo, El Rosal, Villabuena del Puente and Valdefinjas.<\/p>\n

Age of Vines: Vineyards over 45 years old.<\/p>\n

Land: Fresh and sandy soils with clayey subsoils and gravel surfaces.<\/p>\n

Climate: Continental climate with dry and hot summers, cold winters with a remarkable range of temperature<\/p>\n

Production: Very low yields.<\/p>\n

Elaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n

Harvesting: Manual and traditional harvest with selection in the vineyard and once in the winery using a selection table.<\/p>\n

Winemaking: The malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels and the ageing takes place in new French oak barrels for 20 months.<\/p>\n

Tasting Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sight: An intense and dark cherry Picota Red wine with a purplish rim.<\/p>\n

Smell: It is a fruit forward wine with lots of black fruit together with wood, mineral and coffee aromas.<\/p>\n

Taste: On the palate it is a powerful and pulpy wine of fruity type with a very long and persistent finish.<\/p>\n

Serving Temperature: 16\u00baC<\/p>\n

Consumption: It is recommended decanting it at least 4 hours before serving it and it can be consumed from the first moment up to 15 years later.<\/p>\n

Pairing: Red meat, game, roasts, stews and poultry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
